Three decades after opening its doors, a Kent artisan food wholesaler is looking to the future with confidence and a fresh new look.
‘
Curd & Cure’ first started trading in 1988; thirty years on the business is as passionate about food as it has ever been. Delivering the finest produce with excellent customer service continues to be right at the heart of its operations. However, to help mark it’s important milestone, and to prepare the business for the future, the Staplehurst business is getting a brand refresh from fellow Produced in Kent member,
Sand Creative on a large scale; but is determined it won’t be letting go of its heritage and Kent roots.
The company wide brand refresh will bring a more contemporary look for the business with new livery for their vehicle fleet, a brand new website, Improved packaging and labelling on all pre packed meat, cheese and their very popular ‘Deli Tub’ range.
Curd & Cure’s owner and managing director, Stuart Grant said: “We’re creating a clear identity for Curd & Cure that will help our business grow in Kent and around the south-east, we’re also looking to continue to expand and grow our product range with particular focus on our own branded products and locally sourced food & drink. The new look will be rolled out across all own brand products which will help provide better in-store shelf presence for our retailers.”
Curd and Cure’s new state-of-the-art, energy efficient premises have strengthened their ability to deliver a wider range of products and increase production capacity of their bespoke cut meat and cheese range by over 30%. These improvements allow for wider opportunities for range extensions in the future.
He added: “Curd & Cure has grown into a company that continues to deliver fine local produce including the cheeses that made us famous all those years ago, but we can now offer our customers so much more locally produced products, specialising in artisan food and drink for the retail sector on a much bigger scale.”
The expanding business is looking to the next thirty years with confidence and has invested in a larger team to back up that confidence, and they’ll be responsible for growing its customer base, whilst continuing the excellent customer service Curd & Cure clients already enjoy across the county. The team will be unveiling the new identity (kick-starting a six-month rebrand programme), a new website and summer brochure at a ‘Launch Event’ on Thursday 14th June 2018. The team will be giving tours of the new facilities, offering nibbles to taste and talking people though the new summer range. Guests from across the UK’s food industry including food producers, restaurateurs, food journalists and farmers will get the first glimpse of the new-look branding, they will also be the first to taste the future of Curd & Cure.
