Macknade, Kent’s food & drink experts, are all set for a musical summer as they prepare to host a series of artists at their vibrant Food Village, based at their Faversham Food Hall.
Every Friday evening from 5.30 to 7.30pm, diners will be treated to acoustic sounds from popular local musicians as they enjoy dishes and drinks from the street food traders.
Paul Gunner, General Manager said: ‘We’re all so excited to have live music at the Food Village this August. It’s the perfect place to relax, unwind and get ready for the weekend, with family and friends – even furry friends are welcome, provided they keep their paws on the floor!’
A canopied outdoor marketplace and dining space, The Food Village at Faversham showcases the very best food and drink from handpicked vendors. Diners can enjoy a variety of dishes including handmade pizza, authentic tacos, and fusion street food.
In related news, to celebrate Acoustic August, Macknade will be introducing Free Corkage Fridays at Faversham. Customers will be able to browse the extensive selection in the Wine Store, buy a bottle and drink it at their table in the Food Village at no extra cost.
Paul added: ‘Not only are we bringing Free Corkage Fridays to Faversham, we’ll also be offering a variety of different specials alongside seasonal drinks. There’s also the opportunity to pick up treats for the way home, as the Main Store and Wine Store will be open until 8pm.’
Macknade Faversham is open Monday to Saturday from 9am and Sunday from 10am. The Food Village is open daily from 9am, seven days a week.
Acoustic August is not a ticketed event and customers do not need to reserve or book tables.
