Macknade Celebrates the Return of Indoor Dining with New Menus

And, to celebrate this occasion, both venues will offer updated menus! If the novelty of outdoor dining on windy and rainy terraces has worn off, then come and enjoy comfortable spaces and good food with Macknade.

The Plancha Grill at Macknade Ashford will be fired up to sear and sizzle your chosen cut of meat to enjoy with a glass of Kentish wine. Or perhaps you’d rather indulge in an Espresso Martini while sharing the Best of Macknade platter with friends. Meanwhile Macknade Faversham is the perfect stop for brunch; choose from a signature coffee blend to accompany scrambled eggs on toast topped with crispy serrano ham.

“Our ethos here at Macknade has always been to discover and embrace new foods, flavours and experiences, and we believe our menus reflect this.” comments Macknade’s Managing Director, Shane Godwin. “We are delighted to be able to welcome both familiar and new faces back to our café in Faversham and at Elwick Place in Ashford. We have spaced our tables out and our staff are fully trained to ensure that Covid-safe procedures are followed, and everyone remains safe.”

For a change from your usual weekday sandwich, try the Macknade Choripan; Butterflied Chorizo with Chimichurri in a Panuozzo (Neopolitan pizza dough style bap). And if you have little ones in tow that would rather plump for a Peanut Butter and Jam Sarnie, Macknade will gladly cater for them too. Whether you choose to surprise your tastebuds with something new, or decide to keep the flavours local, you can be sure to find something for everyone to enjoy!

In line with government guidelines, Macknade will be open for indoor dining from 17^th May but will continue to serve food and drink outside at both Faversham and Ashford, giving customers the choice to eat where they feel most comfortable and safe.
