Members discover how its made at East Kent Cartons

he latest Produced in Kent Members event was held at East Kent Cartons in Minster. We were welcomed by Katie, John and the team with a short presentation on whats involved in printed carton manufacturing . There was a chance to look at some samples of their work, including the latest carton for The Zingiberi Bakery's new chilli crackers. Then it was time to don a fetching white coverall and hit the factory floor. It was fascinating seeing the detailed process from board selection, how a cutting plate is made to the final scores and folding. Then it was back to the meeting room to network, with some local juice and cookies involved of course ! "The right packaging can make all the difference to a product and we are dedicated to achieving the right result for our clients " said John Davis, Sales Director We are delighted that East Kent Cartons have worked with us to produce a bespoke product especially the Taste of Kent Awards dinner.
