Members Event at Maidstone Distillery

We had a great evening, getting together with members old and new at The Maidstone Distillery, winners of the Kents Spirit of the Year in this year's Taste of Kent Awards.

Starting with a welcome drink (which all members thoroughly enjoyed), we heard from Sam one of the business founders about starting a distillery, launching in a pandemic and awards success. Giving great insight into how they have managed to overcome some of the challenges they have had whilst opening in such unprecedented times.

Our second speaker Mary Eniolu, Trainer & Coach and CEO of the Can Do Academy, looked at how to build a diverse and inclusive business through effective communication, and the positives this can have on business performance. It was great to hear how building a diverse and inclusive business is becoming more and more at the forefront of businesses minds and how seriously it has to be taken to get the most out of a team.

There was plenty of time to meet and mingle, explore the distillery and chat to the PinK team. So many great things are happening!
