Musket Brewery have been very busy!

Last week our brewers spent two 18 hour days producing our green hop beer Flash in the Pan which should be ready for release during the week beginning 20^th September. There was a lot of anxiety at the time as the harvest was later than usual and the recipe requires Fuggles hops which are not the easiest to source but Josh of Gushmere Court Farm near Faversham and Ross of Hukins Hops near Tenterden came to the rescue! Most of our customers reserve casks of Flash in the Pan because it is so popular with their customers but it will also be available in bottles for our retail customers and members of the public.

Another new venture is working with the wonderful mobile Kashmir Kitchen to offer curries on Wednesday evenings between 6 pm and 9 pm to enjoy with a pint or two of Musket beer in The Armoury – our brewery taproom and beer garden! This will start on 22^nd September and we are expecting this to be very popular with our customers who have responded to this news enthusiastically.
