New winter and Christmas dining menus enable you to feast with friends, without the fuss

• New feasting menus offer relaxed group dining in an award-winning restaurant • Feast on shared platters, carved at the table, plus a medley of delicious starters, side dishes and desserts • Menus are focused on sustainability and built around fresh, local, seasonal produce • Christmas feasting option available throughout December

Egerton, Kent: 20th October 2021 -- Tantalising new feasting menus have been launched for autumn and winter at Frasers of Egerton eco farm in the heart of the Kent countryside, so you can be the ‘host with the most’, without any of the clearing up.

Groups of six people or more will be able to choose between a range of shared centrepieces, carved at the table in front of them, including leg of Romney lamb, rib of Sussex beef, crown of Kentish Pork served with sausage meat and apple stuffing, or South Coast whole fish and seafood platter. For larger groups of ten people or more, a whole Suckling pig is available - one of the guests can even opt to take on the role of chef and carve for the party.

The shared main course will be served with an array of sumptuous side dishes, all skilfully prepared by Frasers’ talented team of chefs, led by head chef Jimmy Sherwin who previously worked at the Hotel du Vin in Tunbridge Wells and Chapter One.

Offering group dining at its best, Frasers specialises in serving dishes made from the finest locally sourced ingredients. The informal banquets will be hosted in Frasers restaurant located in a beautiful timber-framed barn and there is also an option for private dining in the sumptuous Stags Barn.

The restaurant’s décor has been given a warming winter makeover, complete with cosy country throws, bespoke pottery dishes and carved wood serving platters made by local artisan craftsmen, providing a stylish rustic ambience and the perfect backdrop for a relaxed feast with friends.

Throughout December, a turkey feasting option will also be available, carved at the table and served with all the traditional festive trimmings. Perfect for Christmas parties and family get-togethers, it will even be available on Christmas Day for those looking for a top-quality Christmas dinner without any of the hassle. Pre-booking is essential, and spaces are limited.

Proprietor Lisa Fraser says, “Our new feasting menus offer a very relaxed, sociable way to get together with friends and family, enjoying the best quality local produce, prepared to the highest standards, but without the fussiness that’s often associated with dining out. Everything is brought to the table for the group to share, so they can serve themselves and pass around the different dishes, and this helps to create a chatty, convivial atmosphere.

“Along with the new, cosier look and feel of our restaurant, the whole experience is focused on generating the comfort and joy of being at home and sharing good times with loved ones, with the bonus of delicious fresh food, talented chefs and professionally crafted menus. Better still, there’s none of the prep or clearing up to deal with!”

The price per head for the feasting menu is from £40.00 for two courses (rib of beef and suckling pig are market price and require seven days advance notice). Smaller tables can be catered for but the meal will be served on a plate rather than as a sharing centrepiece. Christmas day dining costs £100 per head for a four-course meal, complete with tea, coffee, infusions and sweet treats.

Special dietary requirements can be catered for if Frasers is notified in advance, including vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free diets.

Located in Egerton, just 20 minutes from junction 8 on the M20, Frasers is an idyllic haven of calm on a 300-acre working estate comprising a restaurant, garden terraces, hotel accommodation and a contemporary barn used for self-catering holidays, weddings and events.

Frasers is easily reached by car and has plenty of parking. If travelling by train, there is a fast service from London to Ashford International station where taxis are available.
