Orisans Bakery Brings Fresh Bakes to Rochester's High Street

Rochester's high street has a new spot worth a detour. Orisans Bakery opened its doors on 31 August with a full day of celebration, and marked the occasion by giving the first ten paying customers a free brownie or blondie with their order.

Behind the counter, the shelves fill with hand-made brownies, blondies, chocolate chip cookies, croissants and cinnamon rolls, alongside cakes, pies and celebration bakes made to order. It's the kind of bakery built for browsing: a quick treat on the way past, or a cake ordered ahead for a birthday.

Orisans Bakery is open Monday to Friday, 10am until 6pm, at 367 High Street, Rochester, ME1 1DA. It's a warm addition to Kent's food and drink scene, and we're glad to have them as part of the Produced in Kent community.
