Plamil Team win at World Confectionery Conference

Companies from across the industry met at this year’s World Confectionery Conference in Brussels to celebrate and recognise success with 5 special awards.

They included Kent’s very own vegan chocolate pioneers, Plamil Foods, who were awarded Team of the Year. Adrian Ling, managing director of Plamil Foods and Vegan Willy Wonka , was proud to see the company, which has its roots as a pioneer of the vegan market in the 1950s recognised.

The company’s So Free range of non-dairy vegan chocolate has been going from strength to strength in the UK market, as well as making sales across Europe.

Adrian said: “I was delighted and honoured that Plamil were awarded at such a prestigious conference. I myself am interested in the personal self-development of others and in peoples interactions with each other, so it is fabulous these elements shine through in the business and are recognised in how the Plamil team operates together.”
