KCS Heritage transport Show

15th January 2021

The Heritage Transport Show, organised by the Kent County Agricultural Society, is set to return on Saturday 10 April 2021.

After being cancelled in 2020 due to the pandemic, the Heritage Transport Show is making a return this year.

The event is popular with visitors and exhibitors alike, so the organisers are keen to run the show again after a difficult year for many.

James Forknall, chairman of the Kent County Agricultural Society, said: “COVID-19 continues to impact our day to day lives and our ability to run events, but we wanted to bring some positivity by starting plans for this year’s Heritage Transport Show.”

“The situation with the pandemic continues to change frequently so we are remaining flexible to deliver an event that is safe for all. The Heritage Transport Show may be a little different to previous years as we follow government guidance, but it will still hold the same spirit and enthusiasm as it always has.”

“In order to run the event safely and responsibly, the team will be following any changes to government guidance closely and will keep visitors and exhibitors updated.”

The event will again be joined by the South East Bus Festival who are celebrating their tenth year as part of the Heritage Transport Show. Between them, the Heritage Transport Show and South East Bus Festival welcomed over 1000 vintage vehicles in 2019 and hope to see similar numbers this year.

Applications to exhibit at the Heritage Transport Show are currently open. Vehicles of any age and type are welcome to apply.

Tickets will go on sale later in the year, but visitors can register now for early access to book their tickets before anyone else. As a safety measure, tickets will not be available to purchase on the gate so all tickets must be bought in advance.
