What really elevates this simple recipe is the delicious flavoured Balsamic Vinegar from Kent Flavour Shed. With a choice of 20 flavours, you could change the taste of the dish every time you make it!
Serves 4-6 people prep time 10-15 mins.
INGREDIENTS
1 lb any type pasta, your preference
1 bunch fresh basil
4 -6 garden fresh tomatoes, diced
1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil (try our Basil oil)
3 cloves garlic, chopped
¼ cup balsamic vinegar (your preference of flavour)
¼ cup grated parmesan cheese
½ teaspoon fresh ground pepper
1 teaspoon oregano
DIRECTIONS
Prep the tomatoes, garlic, etc-- before boiling the pasta.
Boil pasta while making the rest of the dish.
Sauté garlic in olive oil.
Add tomato's and cover, simmering for 7-10 minutes with the balsamic vinegar and seasonings until tomatoes fall apart.
Cut basil leaves and toss all ingredients together, including Parmesan cheese.
Serve with crusty bread and additional Parmesan on the side, if desired.
