Romney Marsh Wools celebrates Downing Street invitation for Small Awards anniversary

Romney Marsh Wools was honoured to be invited to No. 11 Downing Street as part of the 10th Anniversary celebrations of the Small Awards, hosted by Small Business Britain.

As a sixth-generation family sheep farm based on the Romney Marsh, it was a proud moment to represent both our business and British farming, showcasing products made from the wool of our own Romney sheep and sharing the story of British wool from field to finished product.

One of the highlights of the evening was making new connections with like-minded businesses who share our passion for sustainability, British manufacturing and supporting rural economies. These conversations have already led to exciting new collaborative opportunities that will help promote the value and versatility of British wool.

The event was a wonderful reminder of the power of small businesses to innovate, collaborate and make a positive impact within their communities and beyond.
