See you at the Cathedral!

Our tap room, the cathedral, is continuing to open during our usual opening hours - 4-7pm weekdays and 10am - 6pm Saturdays where you can sit outside or takeaway. This Friday evening we will be open from 4pm till dark with at least five real ales on tap plus local Kent wines and ciders and soft drinks. We will have music from Fiddlefit who have been described as a “punk, folk duo with an eclectic mix of styles and genres playing in an enthusiastic manner.” Sizzling on the BBQ will be locally produced burgers, Beef short ribs, Goody Ales sausages, plus veggie quiche and more! We are very lucky to have such a spacious outside area and are delighted to have it open again. You can feel safe in our garden as we will follow the necessary hygiene procedures and allow for social distancing. If you would like to come anytime during our opening hours, would you please contact us by email, phone call or text message with your name, contact details, how many people and approximate time of arrival. The Government guidance states that we must keep a temporary record of our customers and visitors for 21 days to assist NHS Test and Trace. If you decide to drop in, we will still require your name and contact details. We will operate a one way passage for service through 'the cathedral' - in one door, order at the bar and out the other door with your order. Children are very welcome, there is plenty of space for them to enjoy themselves but we would like to remind you that you will be responsible for supervising them at all times and should follow social distancing guidelines. You are welcome to bring your own chairs and, if necessary, sun shades. We do not permit any alcohol, other drinks or food onto the premises, including the outside space. However, if you are unable to come we are still offering our takeaway and delivery service, ordering either by phone or on line at https://www.openfoodnetwork.org.uk/goody-ales/shop - free local delivery. We are open for takeaway only during normal hours 4pm-7pm on Tuesday - Friday and 10am-6pm on Saturdays. We also have a range of other products such as local fruit juices: apple, cherry juice, Chili sauces, English wine, biltong and snacks. Please see attached price lists. All the best and look forward to seeing you on Friday 21st August, if not before!
