plus Canterbury Al fresco reopening planned for April

Following 12 challenging months, Matt Sworder, chef owner of The Corner House Restaurants, is looking forward to reopening both his restaurants in the coming weeks.

However, with all areas of hospitality closed until April 12th, the chefs will be cooking up some delicious dishes for Easter at Home. Two four course menus are available, one with the restaurant’s iconic lamb shoulder to share priced at £70 for two and one suitable for vegetarians, priced at £60 for two. The meals are available to collect from both Minster and Canterbury on Saturday 3rd April from 12noon to 2pm.

For those using the final weeks of lockdown to brush up on their culinary skills, The Corner House Restaurants have launched a recipe section on the new look website with a range of its most popular starters, mains, sharing plates and desserts available to cook in your own home.

The Corner House Canterbury will open its garden for alfresco dining on Thursday 15th April. The restaurant garden will be open from midday until last orders at 8pm Thursday to Saturday and Sunday lunch from midday until last orders 4pm. The restaurant will also open two of its bedrooms to guests from Thursday to Saturday. Visit: https://www.cornerhouserestaurants.co.uk/eat to book.

The Corner House diners will be delighted to know that both restaurants will reopen their doors on Monday 17th May, provided Government restrictions allow.
