With festive gatherings hopefully possible this year, Matt Sworder, chef owner of The Corner House Restaurants will be helping take away the stress of Christmas Day lunch with a luxurious menu for you to finish and enjoy at home. The offer follows the success of last year’s At Home meals which sold out within days last Christmas.
The Corner House Christmas at Home will be available for collection on the morning of Christmas Eve from both The Corner House restaurants, in Minster and Canterbury.
Priced at £120 for two, the menu offers a sharing board of the restaurant’s most popular snacks, five choices of main and a delicious dessert board with vegan options included.
The Corner House At Home mains comprise: Confit turkey thigh for one, goose fat fondant potato, festive trimmings, Roasted butternut squash for one, curried chickpeas, red onion salsa, sesame whipped tofu (vg), Slow braised lamb shoulder for two, dauphinoise potatoes, seasonal vegetables, lamb jus, Seafood pithivier for two, lobster bisque, buttered spinach and Beef wellington for two, seasonal vegetables, beef jus (£10 per guest supplement). The dessert sharing board offers the best of festive favours with Christmas pudding, proper custard and Mulled wine poached pear, chocolate mousse, candied pecans two of the options. A cheese board is also available priced at £15 for two.
Each At Home box contains simple instructions and a video link, showing how simple finishing off food at home really is. The Corner House does the hard work, giving diners plenty of time to enjoy something a little different on the big day. There is limited availability for the Christmas boxes and diners are asked to order before December 10th,
