Veganuary just got a whole lot easier. With over 150 varieties of produce now growing in our Kitchen Garden, our vegan menu boasts the very best of homegrown fruit, veg and herbs.
Vegan Menu:
Cropped daily and with zero food miles, the result is ‘Green’, fresh and tasty seasonal dishes. Our chefs creatively use as much of the produce as possible, to reduce waste and serve unique flavours born from our greenhouse, polytunnels and fruit cage, straight to your table.
The green fingers of our garden team are responsible for growing our Kitchen Garden produce, cropping the freshest ingredients daily and working closely with our chefs to provide the very best fruit, veg and herbs present on our menus. Focusing on heirloom varieties and rare produce hard (if not impossible) to find at wholesalers, as well as foraging from our bountiful hedgerows and neighbouring shorelines, making the most of our waterside location. What better way to showcase our unique, fresh and lovingly prepared garden produce than as part of our vegan menu?

With 1.5 acres of Kitchen Garden and over 150 carefully selected produce varieties, each season yields an abundance of new crops and the excitement of new ingredients to bring from the garden to your table. Much of this produce you can’t buy at market, and I get the upmost enjoyment from cooking with something completely unheard of. Dine & B&B Special Rates:
We know January & February can be hard; the come down after Christmas, the winter blues and cold, dark mornings. So as a thank you to all our wonderful customers who have taken the time to visit us at The Ferry House, in what has been another difficult year, we’re offering special rates on our B&B rooms for the first two months of 2023.
Take some ‘you’ time after the busy festive season and recuperate in our luxury 4* accommodation beside the Swale Estuary, just 60 minutes from London. Enjoy a relaxed stay taking in the unique surrounds of our waterside location, with protected wetland reserves and countryside home to magnificent wildlife, then indulge in a three-course ‘Harty’ meal, made from only the best local produce from our very own Kitchen Garden and family farm. After a restful evening, join us for a Kentish breakfast for two in our cosy 16th century restaurant, showcasing a variety of produce from home-smoked seasonal fish dishes to fluffy pancakes. Starting from £145, this special rate is available for bookings Tuesday-Friday from 3rd January-28th February 2023.
