The Gastronomist adds Abrebocas and Brunch to the menu

Ashford’s gourmet restaurant extends its weekend offerings with tempting treats on Thursdays and sumptuous sweet and savoury Sunday brunches.

The Gastronomist Club in Ashford’s Elwick Place continues to add new menus and
experiences for guests to enjoy. Alongside regular ticketed dinner party evenings, visitors can discover playful highlights from the gourmet monthly menu in a more informal setting.

The weekend starts on Thursdays with Abrebocas evenings. Guests can expect a fun and flamboyant selection of 5 small plates, showcasing delicious signature dishes.

The Gastronomist prides itself on using local ingredients presented with international flair and a little humour here and there. Abrebocas are an interpretation of the French "Amuse Bouche”, bite sized bursts of flavour to tickle your tastebuds.

In addition the chef will be firing up the parilla, a custom made grill which is the focal point of the atmospheric open kitchen. Guests will have the choice of ordering more substantial daily specials from the à la carte menu.

The bar opens from 5pm serving classic Margaritas to accompany the evening dishes and mouth watering Tinto de Verano with full bodied wine and summery fruits.

Sundays will see the venue open for brunch from 11am-3pm. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and at The Gastronomist Club diners are invited to start as you mean to go on.

Awaken your senses with an adventurous menu which includes Campillou Waffles, Blueberry Buckwheat Pancakes, Venezuelan Arepas, Brioche Doughnuts, English Tacos, and more. Fresh juices, nitro coffees, and refreshingly bright Mimosas are available from the bar.

The Gastronomist is also available for private hire for unforgettable occasions. To be kept informed of new monthly menus and the latest exclusive events please visit www.thegastronomistclub.com
