As the bees begin to get busy and spring promises buds and flowers to come, Great Comp Garden in Sevenoaks is encouraging visitors to get ready for the Garden reopening on the 1st March.
The Garden is known to be a haven for wildlife and the stunning collection of salvias is beloved by the bee population!
Great Comp Garden will be opening to the public again, 7 days a week, from the 1st March, operating within the current Government guidelines and offering take away from The Old Dairy Tearoom to visitors onsite.
William Dyson, curator at the garden in Platt, near Sevenoaks says: "We are looking forward to welcoming visitors to the garden from the 1st March 2021 to see the hellebores, snowflakes and snowdrops that will still be in bloom.
"An annual pass to Great Comp Garden is a great investment in a year of floral colour."
From March through to November, the garden blooms and shares the seasons with first the tulips and magnolias, followed by rhododendrons and azaleas in spring.
Carnival colour in the borders and salvias fragrantly entice visitors to return again and again to the garden throughout the summer.
Later salvias and dahlias celebrate an Indian summer; asking visitors to stay awhile longer until the colours burn on the trees and the days begin to shorten once again.
