The Walnut Tree is a must book venue!

Leanne and the team provide a friendly and efficient service, offering a wide range of world lagers, 30 plus gins and wines from around the world. The food offering is fresh and local, when possible.

The Walnut Tree is a former Yeoman’s Cottage and dates back to 1872, the year Columbus set sail to discover the new world. The building is unique with bowed arches, Yeomans front door and a courtyard paved garden.

The summer is upon us and whilst Walnut Tree is king of the roasts, with an offering of over 5 different meats, we have started to do something a tad different.

Remember that courtyard paved garden I mentioned? Image beautiful flowers, twinkly lights, rustic tables, every Sunday we will be offering an outside eating and music event. This Sunday we are lighting a giant Paella pan, full of shell on prawns, squid, mussels and chicken. Nicole is our singer who performs music from 1960s through to current music.
