The Zero Carbon Bus Tour is coming to the South East LEP area next week
1st September 2021 – Braintree, Essex
On 1st September, between 8.30am and 10am the bus will be at GRIDSERVE Electric Forecourt in Braintree, there will be a number of activities on the morning, and a range of partners who are driving forward this agenda from the area – and a chance to have a go on the Spin E-Scooters currently being trialled around the county.
Planet Mark who are hosting the bus tour will also be making videos from attendees and you can record a message on the day which will be shared with leaders attending COP26 via the bus which is touring the country before heading to Glasgow for the event in November.

2nd September 2021 - Canterbury, Kent
On the 2nd September Zero Carbon Tour will be hosted all day at the University of Kent campus in Canterbury from 10.30am – 3.30pm.
The aim of the Zero Carbon Battle Bus is for the sustainable electric bus to visit various sites around the country and encourage businesses to sign up and commit to the aims of COP 26. More detail of the bus and the pledges can be found here. www.tour.planetmark.com On the day attendees will see the UK's first 100% electric coach, affectionately named the ‘Carbon Battle Bus’, find out more about the UN-backed Race to Zero campaign and hear Carbon Stories and discussions with local people, organisations and community groups.
This fantastic opportunity is being taken further to embed the support available to businesses by acting as a networking event and re-launch of the LoCASE ERDF scheme which is very successful in our area and now expanding into Coast2Capital, Enterprise M3 and Solent LEP areas.
There are opportunities for networking and Planet Mark are also interviewing attendees and the videos they make will be available to us to use post event.
