Time to celebrate Goody Ales 10th Birthday!

Ten years ago, Goody Ales brewed the first beer at Bleangate Brewery.

Genesis was our first beer and 10 years later it is as popular as it was then. Since then, we have brewed several different beers from pale ales to porters. We have kept to our commitment to only use Kentish hops. We have won several awards throughout the ten years. To celebrate we are having a full day of fun and music on Saturday 7th May.

On Saturday 7th May, we will have at least five cask ales on tap, from the cask including Genesis 3.5%, the beginning beer, a dark ruby coloured hoppy bitter with a full flavour and lasting bitter finish, Good Harvest 3.8%, a Kent Green Hop Beer, Good Knight amber bitter and Dead Good 4% amber bitter with a medley of Kentish hops and in conjunction with the Morris Dancers.

Also, a selection of locally produced wines, juices, ciders etc will be available from the bar. We will be serving delicious, stone baked pizza with a range of tasty toppings as well as a selection of BBQ options and hog roast served with our own organic apple sauce.

We have a new extension to the Cathedral to provide under-cover seating for times when the weather is not so favourable in the garden or for when the Cathedral bar is full. If you can't make it to the brewery, don't forget our take away and delivery service: 5l (approx 9 pints) mini kegs, 18 pint and 36-pint poly pins, plastic take away bottles in 2-pint, 4 pint or 5 litres, bottled beers individually or in gift packs of 3 or 6 etc. We have some great merchandise, including t shirts, beanie hats, Goody Ales glasses as well as quality wines and other produce made in Kent such as cold pressed oils and apple or pear juice, chili sauces.

We are open from 4-7pm week days and 10am - 6pm Saturdays.
