Two new gins launched by Canterbury Distillers

The Foundry and Canterbury Brewers and Distillers have had a busy start to the Summer introducing 2 new flavoured gins to the bar and online store. Firstly, the Orange and Saffron Gin has been really well received and it has been a delight to collaborate with the experts at Kentish Saffron to create a delicate but flavourful gin, perfect for the warmer weather, with a tonic and garnished with rosemary.

Second into production has been…. of course…. a modern day pink gin! Never short of requests – this year we have loved creating this for our customers – and we have been overjoyed with how popular it has been. Dry in style, infused with red fruits rhubarb and cherry to create a sweeter profiled gin. It’s a seasonal release made for the bar and a small run of bottles available online.

In June, we were so proud to be a part of the Taste of Kent awards and the Festival beforehand. Awarded a Silver award for our Streetlight Single Malt English Whiskey, it really was such a privilege to be surrounded by like-minded business owners, striving for high standards in food and drink production – local to Kent.
