Business Development and Sales Co-ordinator
The Kent County Agricultural Society, organisers of the annual Kent County Show are expanding their team to include a Business Development and Sales Co-ordinator. Reporting to the Show Manager you will be responsible for all sponsorship and corporate partnerships within the Society. The successful candidate will be expected to generate leads, deliver sales and complete the general organisation required to ensure all partnerships are delivered professionally and effectively at the Kent County Show and other Society run events.
The position requires the tenacity and drive to seek new business with the ability to negotiate and close the deal and the interpersonal skills to form, develop and maintain relationships with people from all backgrounds. Knowledge of the agricultural/equine industry and previous sales experience is essential.

This is a permanent role, working flexibly for three days a week over a five-day period. Additional weekdays may be required from April to July. The role will include some evening and weekend work throughout the year, particularly in the weeks prior to the Kent County Show.
Salary: £22,000 – £25,000 pro rata per annum up to £28,000 OTE (depending on experience).
Candidates must have their own car as the role requires travel to external meetings and events.

Trade Stand Co-ordinator
A rare opportunity has arisen for a Trade Stand Co-ordinator to be employed to work on the annual Kent County Show. Reporting to the Show Manager you will be responsible for all general trade stands and specialist retail areas of the Show. The successful candidate will be expected to fulfil all administration relating to this role including relationship development, site location, social media and the general organisation required to make these areas of the Show a success.
The position requires a high level of accuracy, efficiency and excellent prioritising skills with expected good working knowledge of Microsoft programmes. Previous experience of database use and producing scale drawings in an AutoCAD based system would be highly desirable.

Salary: £20,000 – £25,000 pro rata per annum (depending on experience).
