SOLENOID - Northdown Brewery & Rag & Bone Man, Collaboration beer.. Introducing SOLENOID, the passionately produced punchy NEIPA from Margate's Northdown Brewery in collaboration with Paul Firbank, talented designer and director of The Rag and Bone Man ltd. Paul thoughtfully rethinks and reworks rare 'scrap with heritage', into refined, bold and modern lighting, furniture and special commissions that celebrate the beauty in motor and engineering design for international restaurants and hotels. It was a shared love for their own crafts combined with a thirst for fine ale that fuelled the creative collaboration between Paul and Master Brewer at Northdown, Jonny Spanjar. This limited edition Solenoid has been created by Jonny at Northdown Brewery in Margate, US hops Mosaic, Simcoe and Chinook make this a tropical, juicy, hazy beer. Packed with oats to give a smooth mouthfeel, with mango pineapple and passionfruit on the nose. Solenoid is being launched to coincide with the Malle Mile Beach Race. A weekend event for Vintage Motorcycles which is being held on Margate Main sands on the 26th of September. Malle produces high quality hand made accessories and luggage for those with a passion for motorcycle adventure. The Rag and Bone Man are making the race trophy for the overall winner of this year's race and so this event in the creators hometown has made the ideal platform to launch the beer. The label design celebrates the maze-like channels found in automatic transmission gearboxes and the solenoid valves that control the flow of oil within them and was designed with Rich Hengan.
