Who will win the Fudge Wacky Races?

Boat or foot ... who will win the Fudge Wacky Races …?

Every year, Fudge Kitchen selects a charity to support over the ensuing 12 months, through fund-raising, sporting craziness, awareness building and donations from dedicated sales. It has seen Fudge Kitchen staff pedaling across India to raise £1,185 to replace slum housing, cycling from London to Paris and across Cambodia and Vietnam, raising over £6,000 for Breast Cancer Now; plus a London Marathon run and a 2017 National Fudge Day fundraiser, across all seven shops, for The Lily Foundation. 2018 sees Fudge Kitchen supporting the incredible work of Ogwen Valley Mountain Rescue (https://ogwen-rescue.org.uk), who quite literally saved the life of Andy McCluskey (brother of the Bath’s Fudge Kitchen shop manager, Ian). You can read all about this truly dramatic rescue in the Fudge blog: http://www.fudgeblog.co.uk/2018/06/a-death-defying-rescue-ventriloquial-goats-and-of-course-fudge/ National Fudge Day was focused on raising money for them through sales of a limited edition Welsh Bara Brith fudge in the FK shops, but on September 5th and 6th they’ll go a fundraising step (or paddle) further, as two fudge kitchen teams race each other from Oxford to Windsor. But, here’s the rub … one team will be kayaking and one will be making their way by foot. Who will win?
