Get togethers, catch ups, time together just putting the world to right – whatever you want to call it – being with your people whilst tucking into something seriously delicious has got to be one of the best feelings.

So, this January and February pull up a chair at our table and tuck into our set lunch menu, a simple menu of PIG winter and Kitchen Garden classics that means more time for chatting and less time for choosing.

Week One - 9th-13th Jan

At THE PIG we are all about supporting incredible people that are passionate about their craft, so a group of dedicated misfits fit right in with us! This case embodies the sense of camaraderie, highlights the immense quality and acts as a compass for the contemporary wine scene of South Africa. Producers are motivated by reviving old vineyards, caring for the land where it lay abandoned and ultimately driven by producing the very best wines they can. The majority of twelve bottles are from pervious vintages - this is a case that we all want in our wine racks!

Finish the tour in the glass house tasting room where the Charles and Ruth Simpson will treat you to a range of their wines, including library vintages! Afterwards, make the 10 minute journey to THE PIG-at Bridge Place where roaring fires, cosy corners and a soul warming dinner for two will be awaiting. Round off your day by unwinding in your unique room with a sink-into mattress, walk-in monsoon shower and roll top bath. Because we would never send anyone home hungry, breakfast before heading home in the morning is also included.
