Our Pedigree herd of British Saddle Backs are free to range and graze on the North Downs, being born and living in the open air all their lives. They are housed in shelters made from straw, giving them ample insulation during the coldest weather and keeping them cool during the summer months. Supplementing their balanced diet of vitamins and minerals with fruit and vegetables. The result is flavour – packed, tender pork which melts in your mouth, crackling that crackles, as it should do. Bacon that cooks in its own juices without leaving a white milky effect. Gammon that is so tender it leaves you asking for more.
