Pamela Price at Viking Gallery

About Us

This art deco building originally built as a Turkish Hamman in the 1930s houses nine apartments and a ground floor and basement gallery space. The gallery is currently open to the public from Thursday until Sunday from midday to 6pm but of course may be hired at any time for rehearsals, film shoots, PR events and functions, children’s parties or elegant soirees, it is a useful and adaptable space so can host a wide mix of vents as well as exciting art shows.

The owner, Pamela Price, opened Clapham’s first delicatessen, Here Is Food, at 26 The Pavement in the early seventies and ran a successful catering and event company until recently. She is a long term member of The Guild of Fine Food and has been a judge for The Great Taste Awards since its inception. She is keen to offer a platform for local suppliers and to increase the awareness of good local food and producers amongst the Thanet community.
