Powder & Magazine is Medway’s newest gastro dining experience. Our name comes from the former use of the site as a Powder Magazine dating back to the 17th Century. The old hand painted lettering, warning ships of the site use is visible on the walls by the river, a reminder of the maritime history all around us.
Our food is inspired by fresh, quality local produce and you will find old favourites alongside dishes like our gin cured salmon, using Copper Rivet gin distilled just across the river in Chatham Maritimes new distillery.
