Chai Wallah Margate

I am a lover of all things tea, and India - hence the love of chai! It all started from being a green tea drinker and loving the warm delicious spices of masala chai but being unable to find a green chai that satisfied my cravings. So I decided to create my own. After lots of trial and error my green chai blend was born and the rest has stemmed from there.

Each blend is combined according to two main principals, that they should be not only delicious, but also beautiful. We spend enough time rushing around in our everyday lives, the very act of taking the time out for yourself to enjoy a restorative cup of tea is important, and shouldn't be underestimated.

I'm a big believer in the slow food (tea) movement, which is why the majority of blends are only available as loose leaf. However I do understand that sometimes life isn't quite that simple and there isn't always the time or equipment to make a decent pot of tea. This doesn't mean you have to sacrifice quality though; which is why we do have some blends available in the convenience of a teabag but containing the same high quality loose leaf tea. No powders or nonsense here, just real tea, botanicals and spices!

I have a strong environmental ethos which means the pyramid teabags, the kraft bags we use and postal packaging is 100% biodegradable so there's no guilt associated with enjoying your perfect cup of tea!
