Little Big Flavour Kits is a Kent-based food brand founded by Aliza Ratnayaka, who grew up in Sri Lanka. The business began around her kitchen table in Beckenham during lockdown, when Aliza and her school friend Prasadini began turning family recipes into curry kits.

Our curry kits make authentic Sri Lankan cooking approachable, even if you have never cooked the food before. Each one is built around a particular main ingredient, with the spices carefully selected, roasted and blended to complement it.

Inside each kit, you’ll find a combination of whole and ground spices, coconut milk powder, a separate chilli sachet and an easy-to-follow recipe. You simply add the main ingredient, a few fresh ingredients and basic cupboard staples.

In around 30 minutes, you can have a proper Sri Lankan curry on the table—without measuring spices, second-guessing the recipe or buying eight different jars for one dinner.

Our premium, minimally processed ingredients have real provenance. Our spices are sourced directly from Sri Lanka, and the kits are packed there, where the spices grow. They are designed here in Kent for UK kitchens and contain no added salt, added sugar, preservatives or artificial free-flowing agents.

The range includes Chicken, Pepper Beef, Mustard Fish, Prawn, Sweet Potato and Red Lentil curry kits, alongside our Great Taste Award-winning Coconut Sambol. Vegan-friendly choices are available, and the chilli is kept separate so everyone can adjust the heat to suit their own taste.

Little Big Flavour Kits offers something between cooking entirely from scratch and reaching for a takeaway or ready meal. You still prepare and cook dinner, but we’ve taken care of the sourcing, measuring and spice blending for you.
