Romney Marsh Shepherds Huts

Our family are delighted to be able to share the landscape we manage within this peaceful countryside which is a paradise for walkers, cyclists, and explorers of historic towns, quaint villages, ancient churches and wildlife.

Medium Romney Marsh Web page

With breath taking views as far as the eye can see.

Traditional Shepherds Huts with a touch of luxury, situated at the heart of the family farm on the Romney Marsh. With stunning views, these huts give you the chance to experience the true magic of the Romney Marsh, to unwind and get close to nature. Vast open skies, miles of Kent countryside and beautiful, peaceful surroundings provide the perfect rural retreat to relax and recharge.

Explore the local area, which includes Medieval towns, stunning coastlines & open countryside, as well as many local attractions such as vineyards & breweries, zoos, foodie havens, historic gardens, castles and much more.

The huts are fully equipped with a double bed, kitchen including hob and outdoor fire it and a built in toilet & shower room, meaning everything you have all you need without needing to leave your Shepherds Hut.

Settle in for a night under the stars by the fire pit, or cosied up with the log burner on the go. Whichever season you choose to visit, we can promise the Romney Marsh offers a unique experience, from summer sunsets to crisp winter mornings, as well as all the colours of autumn and the famous marsh mists in the spring.

• Family Farmers carrying out a sustainable business based on traditions going back for hundreds of years.
• Natural sheep grazing ensures conservation of historic Romney Marsh pasture and landscape. This also directly supports local tourism.
• Local community involved in flock care and management and product processing, marketing and sales.
• Minimal impact on the local community as entirely traditional methods of production used i.e. sheep grazed on marsh pasture, no additional infrastructure required in the production process.
Our Shepherds Huts have been bespoke built by our local craftsman, Julian, from Elham Valley Shepherds Huts using original 1900’s plans.
