The Butcher's Block
Locally sourced food and drink, with great customer service
The Butchers Block opened in the Summer of 2017 and took on its name in honour of owner and manager Simon.
For over three decades Simon was a highly skilled butcher in
nearby Bearsted before moving to Burham with his wife Joanna and starting a new adventure, where meat is still often the star of the show.
The Butchers Block offers freshly cooked delicious food made from fresh quality ingredients. We use locally sourced meat, butchered on site (of course!) so that it can be as fresh as we can make it, from the
kitchen straight onto your plate.
In the bar, we serve wine, including some locally produced, ales, beers, and the odd G&T too. Our range of local drinks is always expanding as we add new 'favourites'.
We are very proud to have been awarded ‘Kent Dining Pub or
Bistro of the Year’ at The Taste of Kent Awards for both 2019 & 2020 along
with ‘Excellence Award for Customer Service’ in 2019
