While working on rural farms in West Africa, we saw how amazing Red Palm, Palm Kernel Oil & Shea Butter were for the skin and hair. Local Sierra Leonean women swore by it.

Back home in England, we were also trying to soothe and heal the skin of our children with severe eczema.

After mixing powerful potions in the kitchen and experimenting on our family’s sensitive skin, our creation was a completely natural, plant-based product which effectively mimicked the consistency of paraffin-based emollients. POWER BALM was born.

Forty-three women farmers contribute to our super sustainable palm oil supply which is processed at the mill in West Africa. These vibrant and fresh kernels are handpicked, and our shea butter nuts are collected wild and hand-crushed by a women’s cooperative in Ghana.

We source ethical and traceable ingredients. We believe in healthy living soils which promote biodiversity for all species.
