Discover Balfour wines and how the land around the winery, Hush Heath Estate, transitioned from a traditional pasture of arable land to beautifully maintained vineyards, orchards, and ancient oak woodlands.
Learn about the secrets of the Hush Heath Estate history either from the edge of Nannette’s Vineyard (weather permitting) or the balcony while one of our knowledgeable tour guides brings to life some fascinating stories from our past.
On a Saturday and Sunday, the Winter Wine Experience includes a visit to our state-of-the-art winery where guests will be guided around our modern facility showing winemaking and production techniques used for our still and sparkling wines.
Midweek guests will be shown to the private mezzanine level in the tasting room where guests will be immersed into the world of winemaking as our Head Winemaker, Fergus Elias, talks through the winemaking process in our short film.
Finally, enjoy a tutored tasting of six Balfour wines.
