Spend an afternoon out in the glorious Kent countryside sipping on a glass of bubbly whilst discovering the wonders of English viticulture and the history of our vineyard.
Our informal yet informative wine tastings comprise of trying our range of sparkling wines while learning about what’s in your glass and how it got there. We also provide a cheeseboard to enjoy whilst your wine host introduces you to the English wine industry and how The Mount wine is made.
Wine Tastings All Year Round
Wine tasting in Kent is a wonderful activity all year round. Cosy up next to the log burner in our newly converted tasting room this winter or enjoy an al-fresco tasting experience on our oak terrace in the summer months. Tastings take place on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays at 12:30, 14:30 and 16:30, lasting approximately an hour and costing £30 per person. From May to the end of September, our 16:30 tasting includes a tour of the vineyard and costs
£35 per person.
All tastings are adult-only experiences. We regret that we cannot accommodate under 18s on our wine tastings. Between October and April, our wine tastings take place in our new tasting room located in the Wine Loft above the restaurant. Access is via a flight of stairs. If you are unable to walk upstairs, please contact us and we will be happy to discuss alternative arrangements with you.
