Assisting the owner operators and bar manager, ensuring correct set up before each service, supporting, developing and motivating your team. working closely with the head chef and his kitchen team as well as the housekeeping team, up-selling to improve GP’s and above all ensuring customers have an outstanding experience. We take customer service seriously so the candidate must be social, take pride in their service and appearance and always be looking to being welcoming and helpful. You need to be a friendly multi-tasker, adaptable and expect to work in all areas of the business with a hands-on attitude, whether it be serving food/drinks, helping to plan and market events, or checking in our hotel guests. You must already have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a proven assistant manager role and be confident and friendly, as we expect for you to come in and hit the ground running.
Shifts will vary, between the hours of 7.00am and 11:30pm, covering 7 days per week. You will be expected to work five full days a week covering 48 hours as an average on a rota basis. You must be available to work evening and weekends.
You must have your own transport to get to and from work (some shifts will be outside of public transport hours) as the location is rural once the trains stop. Speak fluent English There is no live-in accommodation available.
In line with the requirements of the Asylum & Immigration Act 1996, all Assistant Manager applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK. Documented evidence of the eligibility will be required from candidates as part of the recruitment process.
