28th-25th October 2021
Give ‘em Pumpkin’ to talk about this October Half Term, and join Ashten the Pumpkin on his craft-filled workshops across Ashford and Tenterden.
Sideways Media along with Love Ashford, Experience Ashford and Tenterden and Ashford Borough Council, this Autumn, are hosting FREE craft workshops. The workshops are part of a larger ‘Welcome Back’ government funded campaign that focuses on the importance of recognising, reviving and regenerating our high streets, following the impact of coronavirus.
Everyone is invited to take part and join Ashten; the Halloween mascot designed by local illustrator Tiny Beegle, on his craft-filled adventure days during the October half term.
Get crafty and make your way round the activity table; create your very own Ashten pumpkin, spider and colouring masterpiece. Participants will even have the opportunity to submit their works, for a chance to win a fantastic bundle of prizes for all the family; including tickets, vouchers and goodies. They’ll also have the opportunity to showcase their artwork at the Ashten the Pumpkin exhibition, a gallery space for people to come and view the fantastic work!
To secure your place, all you have to do is; head over to the Love Ashford website, select the time and date that suits you and book your time slot. The workshops will run from 10am to 3pm, on the 25th & 27th in Ashford and 26th & 28th in Tenterden.
