Singing Workshop at Green Farm Spa & Retreats

We have recently finalised the following, slightly different from your usual retreat. Its just half a day, but well worth adding to the menu. These ladies came on a spa day a while ago and we got chatting. Will be adding Spa Stays to this so people can have spa on Saturday and singing on the Sunday.

SUNDAY JULY 2^ND 2023

Join Kelly and Gemma for a 3-hour sound and singing workshop designed to invigorate your body, mind and spirit. The day will begin with a special brew to warm your heart and voice and then we invite you to take part in an immersive sound and singing workshop. You will explore posture, breathing, sound meditation and gentle singing as part of a group and the retreat will culminate in a guided sound meditation walk through the timeless pastures of Green Farm.

The benefits of music and singing are well documented. Not only is singing good for your physical health, but evidence shows that listening to and participating in music plays a vital role in maintaining a healthy immune system too. The release of endorphins combined with the tranquil surroundings of Green Farm will be sure to nourish you on all levels.

This retreat is accessible to everyone, and adjustments will be made to suit your needs. An ability to sing is irrelevant, but an appreciation of music and sound is welcome.

Gemma Knight Jones

Gemma has sung, danced and pranced as long as she remembers and works amongst the elite on Londons West End. She has recently finished a run at The Phoenix Theatre playing "Hannah & others" in the Olivier Award Winning musical Come From Away

Alongside her successes on the stage and screen, Gemma is also a freelance vocal coach and has enjoyed work as a voiceover artist for brands including Asics & the BBC and also

session vocal work for artists including Ariana Grande, John Legend and Shaun Escoffery. She has appeared on shows including BBC 1 Remembrance Concert at The Royal Albert Hall, BBC 1 Pitch Battle, Michael McIntyre's Big Show and The X Factor

Kelly Fraser

Kelly is a successful singer, freelance industry vocal coach and Music Therapist.

She has worked as a vocal coach on shows including The X-Factor, Britain’s Got Talent, Blue Peter, Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway, and for Disney and Kidz Bop. Her work as a vocalist includes featuring on BBC 1 Pitch Battle, backing vocals for Mica Paris, Rick Astley, Omar and Shaun Escoffery at venues including the 02 arena, Wembley Arena and Shepherds Bush Empire.

Kelly holds a First-class honours degree in Popular Music, a PgCert in Education and a Masters in Music Therapy. She worked as Principle Lecturer at BIMM London for over 12 years and now runs a successful private vocal coaching practice. Her portfolio career to date also includes working as a Music Therapist at a Children's Hospice, and as a choir director.
