10 years of’ SMOKED & UNCUT 2023

THE PIG-at Bridge Place, Saturday 12th August

Presented by the INEOS Grenadier with Razorlight as headliners

Hold onto your hats party people... Smoked & Uncut at THE PIG-at Bridge Place is back on Saturday 12th August with Razorlight as the festival headliners. With a full-scale festival filled with nostalgic beats and garden eats, expect laid back rock ’n’ roll tunes, a bundle of bars, field food and feasting - with a few of THE PIG’s renowned chef friends.

10 Years of SMOKED & UNCUT

Ten years ago, it all started with a guy and a guitar in the garden… Wind forwards a decade, and this gig has mushroomed into a pretty sizeable festival full of fun, food, music, and glamping. There is no PIG more fitting to mark the 10-year anniversary than THE PIG-at Bridge Place, a renowned musical honeypot which, over the years, has played host to some of the biggest names in the rock hall of fame - Led Zeppelin and The Kooks to name a few.

Razorlight

As we reflect on the last decade of Smoked & Uncut, it only seems fitting to bring back the best of the best! Razorlight will be headlining this very special celebration – the perfect act for THE PIG-at Bridge Place which has its own rich rock ’n’ roll history. Founded in 2002, Razorlight will be taking to the stage with indie rock classics such as ‘Golden Touch’ and ‘America’, the latter being a UK number one in 2006. More recently in 2022 Razorlight released a new album ‘Razorwhat? The best of Razorlight’ – a celebration of some of the band’s best hits along with a couple of brand-new singles. Having toured America and headlined at festivals such as Reading and Leeds, Razorlight are seasoned professionals when it comes to getting the whole crowd into major party-mode.

Festi-food and Drink

Food stalls at the festivals are another great lure offering a seriously tasty selection of options from classic burgers to hot veggie and vegan bites and stone-baked pizza. Of course, these mouth-watering dishes need washing down with something special – fear not party people THE PIGs friends have got you covered. We have drinks galore from our friends at Fever-Tree, Shepherd Neame's Beer Bar or Hambledon's double-decker bus with their quaffable Hampshire fizz. And for those after something non-alcoholic there’s Pentire’s botanical spirits, perfect for getting into the summer festival spirit with the rest of the festival’s revellers.

Feasting with Angela & Friends

If you want something even more epic to remember your festival day, head inside to the hotel's restaurant for a 4-course feasting menu with Angela Hartnett and her chef friends (names tbc). Each chef takes on a course so expect dishes that are not only full of flavour but also of their personalities. Angela, who needs little introduction, is one of the UK's most loved chefs and restaurateurs. At the festivals, in addition to her chef friends, she will be joined by Neil Borthwick, Head Chef of Soho's legendary The French House. Neil also happens to be Angela's husband...

THE PIG’s Apprentice & James Golding

Back by popular demand THE PIGs Apprentice field kitchen will be serving up garden classics alongside Group Chef Director James Golding. The PIG apprentices will be operating under canvas to cook up a delicious 3-course menu using ingredients both from the hotels' kitchen gardens and local hero suppliers. Picture long sharing tables, perfect for groups to sit together and enjoy the festival vibes.

Glamping

Fully immerse yourself in the festival spirit and set up camp in your own bell tent for two, in a small but perfectly formed Glamping Village located in the fields next to the hotel. Snuggle into proper beds and relax, with proper loos and shower cabins. All glampers will also have free access to Yoga sessions and test drives of the brand-new Grenadier 4x4 throughout their stay. The glamping village will open at 4pm on Friday 11th – the weekend kicks off with a 3-course Italian-inspired field supper around the campfire from Angela and friends. All glampers also have access to free Yoga sessions and free test drives of the brand-new Grenadier 4x4! Saturday morning will start with a hearty campfire breakfast from THE PIGs chefs before the main event starts at 11:30. After you have partied the day away spend the night under the stars before enjoying one last campfire meal Sunday morning.
