A few lovely new things happening at Queenie & Judge

The biggest news is that I’m now an official Frenchic Paint stockist, which I’m genuinely thrilled about. I’ve always liked products that are practical, good quality and easy for people to use at home, and Frenchic really fits that ethos. I’ve now got a wide range in stock — wall paints ( yes! Frenchic do wall paints!), furniture paints, waxes, brushes and all the bits you need to get started — so whether you’re refreshing a single piece of furniture or planning something bigger, there’s plenty to choose from and I’m always happy to offer advice.

Alongside the paint, I’ve also launched my new Simply Chic Simply Affordable cushion range, which has been a real labour of love. Every cushion is handmade here in Kent using carefully selected designer fabrics, and the focus is very much on timeless style and comfort rather than passing trends. They’re designed to work beautifully in both classic and contemporary homes — pieces that add warmth and personality without trying too hard. I wanted them to feel effortless, something you can live with and enjoy every day, and the response so far has been lovely.

At the heart of Queenie & Judge is my wider collection of luxury handmade cushions, created using some of the finest designer fabrics available, including names such as William Morris, Morris & Co, Designers Guild, Schumacher, Clarke & Clarke, Sophie Robinson,Thibaut, Linwood and Sanderson. Every cushion is made to order with real attention to detail, with the option to add premium feather inners for extra comfort and elegance. Whether you’re styling a traditional interior or looking for a statement piece for a more modern space, the aim has always been to offer beautiful, well-made pieces that feel special but still accessible. I really wanted to make designer style more affordable too, which means you can now pick up a designer cushion starting from as little as £33.

One of the things people often say when they visit is that Queenie & Judge feels different from a typical interiors shop — and that’s exactly how I want it to be. It’s independent, family-run and very personal. You can absolutely shop online if that’s easiest, but I love welcoming people into the shop, chatting through colours, fabrics and ideas, and helping them find something that really suits their home.
