A Perfect Summer Evening at Castle Farm

A huge thank you to William and Hazel, who gave us a fascinating insight into the story of Castle Farm and its lavender production. They shared the challenges the farm has faced this year, including the impact of the unexpected May frosts, and explained how they continue to create new opportunities for more people to experience and enjoy the beautiful lavender fields. We also learnt the difference between Lavender and Lavendin – you don’t want to confuse them as one relaxes and the other does quite the opposite!

It was fantastic to welcome so many of our members, alongside lots of new faces joining us for the first time. As always, great conversations, new connections were made, and ideas were shared in a relaxed environment. We always aim for everyone to feel at ease.

We're taking a short break during July, but we'll be back in August with another great event. We look forward to seeing both familiar and new faces there.
