Art at Chartham Vineyard

In the Vineyard Gallery, the highly regarded and very successful exhibition of oil and watercolour painting of Venice by Liam Thompson has come to an end. In July the Gallery will be displaying a collection of work by botanical artists from the Botanical Art Group at Brogdale. Some are also members of the Bedgebury Pinetum Florilegium Society, whose status is recognised as the world’s most complete collection of temperate conifers. The emphasis of their work will be to produce paintings which are both very attractive and botanically accurate.(Illustration by Pearl Bostock) The exhibition will open on Saturday 6^th July from 11.00am to 5.00pm, and then every Saturday at the same times, until Saturday 27^th July.
