Affineur of the Year is one of the most significant events in the British Cheese Calendar
The Awards take place on Wednesday 14th of June at The Chinese Exchange in London.
The world recognised event provides an exciting and unique opportunity for worldwide cheesemongers and cheesemakers to showcase the skill and artistry of guiding a cheese to its full potential.
Building upon the success of last year’s competition, the Academy of Cheese and Quicke’s have expanded the categories, including mould-ripened and crumbly cheeses, which will allow for the cheesemakers to highlight and showcase various affinage techniques specific to those categories.
