The kit is designed to help people begin growing some of the most useful and well-loved plants for a home apothecary, while also learning how they have traditionally been used. Once established, the herbs can become part of simple everyday rituals, from infused oils and balms to bath preparations, compresses and herbal blends. It is very much about slowing things down, understanding where ingredients come from and building confidence with plants rather than simply buying something already made.

I also wanted it to feel accessible rather than intimidating. You do not need to be a herbalist, an experienced gardener or someone with acres of land. The joy is in starting small, learning from the plants and seeing what you can create with them over time. It makes a lovely gift for gardeners, makers, nature lovers and anyone who has ever thought, “I’d love to learn how to do that.”
