Homestead Beef - Nominated for a ‘Rural Oscar’

Just 3 months after opening their online store and attending local farmer’s markets and events with their grass-fed, rare breed beef, Dover-based cattle farmers, Homestead Beef, have been nominated for a rural oscar in the 2019 Countryside Alliance Awards. These rural business awards are now in their 14th year and are judged on the quality of the nominations, rather than the quantities of nominations received. Katie Anderson, Assistant Farm Manager, wanted to thank those that have nominated and encourage any further nominations before the cut off date of the 9th of December. She commented ‘we are such a small team and we are involved in every aspect of the business from birth to butchery, so while we are busy keeping the farm running and ensuring our beef is of high quality and superb taste, it is absolutely fantastic to be recognised for our efforts.
