Macknade Unveils July Events Calendar

From the return of weekly live music in the Food Village to hands-on seasonal workshops and a dazzling night of Drag Bingo, Macknade continues to bring the community together through memorable food and drink experiences.

Friday Night Live – Live Music Every Friday in July & August

Friday 3rd July | Delta Blue | 6:30pm - 8:30pm

Friday 3rd July sees Macknade Food Village kick off a summer of live music, running every Friday evening throughout July and August. Guests can settle in with street food from a variety of vendors, enjoy drinks from the Hop Shed bar and soak up the relaxed atmosphere. Opening the weekly performances is Delta Blue, an upbeat four-piece band performing classics from across the decades, including Pop, Rock, Soul, Blues and Reggae, all delivered with their own distinctive twist. Friday 10th July | Beard Conspiracy

The Beard Conspiracy are a three-piece ensemble based in the Southeast of England. Comprised of accordion, guitar, tuba and vocals, they play a variety of music; fast paced tango, classical and klezmer with an eclectic blend of contemporary classics.

Friday 17th July | Under the Wood

Legendary Faversham rock 'n' roll band will light up the night with a foot-stomping set packed with crowd favourite covers, all the way from Johnny Cash to Aloe Blacc.

Friday 24th July | Georgie Taylor

Georgie Taylor is a powerful vocalist covering music from multiple genres. Her repertoire spans throughout the decades, with covers of favourites such as Amy Winehouse and Dusty Springfield.

Friday 31st July | Holly Wanstall

Macknade welcomes Holly Wanstall, aka Miss Holiday Swing, a professional vocalist specialising in modern easy listening, jazz & swing music.

Drag Bingo – ABBA Disco Diva Style

Saturday 11th July | 7pm

Drag act Delilah Tickles and Anita Wee return to Macknade for a glitter-filled Drag Bingo spectacular, this time with an ABBA Disco Diva theme. Guests can expect four lively games of bingo alongside bold performances, sparkling costumes and a soundtrack of iconic Abba disco anthems. The evening promises plenty of laughs and fab prizes!

Food Confidence Workshop – Easy Alfresco Dining

Sunday 19th July | 10:30am

Macknade invites curious foodies to join Wasted Kitchen founder, Katy Newton, for a summer-focused workshop centred on relaxed outdoor dining. With hands-on guidance from Katy, guests will learn how to create flavour-packed dips, dressings and simple dishes ideal for picnics, sharing boards and easy summer meals. The workshop offers practical inspiration for making the most of seasonal ingredients in a relaxed and accessible way.
