Kent Food Hubs is preparing to open Nineteen, a new community food hub in the heart of Folkestone, bringing together local food, producers, food businesses, learning and community under one roof.
Nineteen will include a commercial community kitchen, local food retail, café, flexible workshop and co-working space, alongside a programme of food education, workshops, producer events, markets, pop-ups and community activities.
A key part of Nineteen will be our Producer Incubation Programme, designed to support new and emerging food businesses with affordable access to a commercial kitchen, opportunities to test and develop products, practical support and new routes to market through Nineteen and Kent Food Hubs.
As we prepare to open, we’re gathering information to help shape the functionality and services of the space and building a network of producers, chefs, food businesses and community organisations who may be interested in using Nineteen.
Whether you’re interested in commercial kitchen hire, the incubation programme, selling through our retail space or Kent Food Hubs, trading at markets and pop-ups, delivering workshops, hiring space or collaborating with us, we’d love to hear from you.
