Mont58 Coffee has been named best Bricks & Clicks Business at The Small Awards
A Kent & London coffee business was celebrated as best Bricks & Clicks business at this year’s Small Awards.
Mont58 Coffee won the award, which recognises small businesses that use multiple channels with innovation and skill to develop their business.
Maya Haiman-eilon, who co-founded Mont58 Coffee in 2018 was presented with the Small Award at a sparkling celebration event in central London, hosted by presenter, writer, actor and comedian, Sue Perkins.
Mont58 Coffee is an independent roastery with sites in South East London and Kent. Over the years, it has built a loyal following and community that values not only the quality of its coffee but the brand’s values. B-corp certified, Mont58 source their beans sustainably and ethically, working with trusted farmers and cooperatives. Alongside their cafés, they run a thriving subscription service that delivers fresh coffee straight to homes across the UK, making it easy for customers to enjoy Mont58 wherever they are. They also supply a growing number of cafés, restaurants, offices, and retailers - helping other businesses share great coffee with their customers. Community is at the heart of Mont58: from supporting local events and collaborating with neighbouring businesses, to creating welcoming spaces in their cafés where people can connect.
Maya said: “We’re incredibly proud to receive this award. What started as a small local roastery has grown through the support of our community, our customers, and an amazing team who care deeply about making great coffee accessible, sustainable, and easy to enjoy. Winning this award means a huge amount to us as an independent business, and we’re very grateful to everyone who has supported Mont58 along the way.”.
Now celebrating a decade of rewarding the UK’s best small businesses, The Small Awards is a nationwide search for the smallest and greatest firms in the UK, across all sectors. It is organised annually by Small Business Britain, which champions, inspires and accelerates the nation’s 5.7 million small firms.
Over 80 small businesses were shortlisted across 12 categories, from high street heroes and sole traders to sustainability leaders.
Mont58 Coffee won the award alongside 11 other winning small firms from across the UK. The Small Awards was judged by a panel of leading enterprise experts. Guests enjoyed a night of entertainment at Christ Church in London’s Spitalfields.
"Small businesses are the heart and soul of their communities and make huge contributions to the UK economy. Every year, the Small Awards recognise their efforts," said Michelle Ovens CBE, founder of Small Business Britain and the Small Awards.
