White Rocks Farm in Underriver has added some exciting new cuts to its farm shop offering, including Golden Guernsey goat meat and woodland-raised Oxford Sandy and Black pork.
This family-run rare breeds farm, located between Underriver and Bitchet Green, continues to expand the range of produce available through its farm vending machine and honesty stall. The latest additions bring even more variety for customers looking to buy high-quality, locally produced meat directly from the farm.
The farm has just released a selection of Golden Guernsey goat meat, offering customers a chance to try something a little different.
The new range includes diced goat, mince, whole and half legs, and whole and half shoulder cuts. Goat meat is naturally lean, flavourful and increasingly popular with home cooks looking for versatile alternatives to more familiar meats. These cuts are ideal for slow cooking, curries, stews and roasting.
Alongside the goat, the farm has also added Oxford Sandy and Black pork, a traditional British rare breed known for its rich flavour and excellent quality.
Customers can now pick up woodland-raised pork belly, chops and roasting joints, all produced on the farm itself.
What makes the farm’s pork and goat special?
At White Rocks Farm, animal welfare and traditional farming methods are central to how the farm operates.
The Oxford Sandy and Black pigs are reared in woodland, allowing them to root and forage naturally. This slower, more natural system produces pork with great texture and depth of flavour.
Meanwhile, the goats, cattle and sheep spend most of the year grazing pasture, contributing to the quality of the meat while maintaining healthy land management across the farm.
